At the air intake system for an internal combustion engine, each control flap (5) has an intermediate elastic member (5) to link it with the lever shaft assembly (6) and, on distortion, it is forced against a closure seat (8). The elastic member (7) is a spring strap (9) with its ends (10) bonded to the control flap (5) and the lever (11) of the lever shaft assembly (6).
