PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to decrease moisture from sludge containing a large amount of the moisture while achieving the considerable compactification of appearance by including a sludge injecting means having a nozzle for injecting the sludge containing a large amount of the moisture and a receiving tray means for accepting the injected sludge. SOLUTION: This sludge treating device 10 has the sludge injecting means 20 and the receiving tray means 30. The sludge injecting means 20 has an oscillating mechanism 23 for vertically and laterally deflecting the nozzle 22 for injecting the highly moist sludge. The receiving tray means 30 is constituted by forming a sheet metal, etc., to a disk in order to accept the highly moist sludge injected from the nozzle 22 of the injecting means 20. A multiplicity of projecting parts 30a, 30a,... are formed on a surface 30f which accepts the injected highly moist sludge. In addition, the receiving tray means 30 is born by a supporting frame 2f via a joint 41 and is moved between a working position (solid lines) and a discarding position (chain lines) by an actuator 42.
