PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely block an inner part from the outside air by simple constitution, in a straight intake system of structure required for enhancing intake efficiency. SOLUTION: A shielding plate 1 for blocking a longitudinal-directional communication function in a midway of an air duct and allowing communication with an engine upper space, and for opening the air duct and blocking the communication with the engine upper space is provided in this intake device for an engine, in which traveling wind is taken in from a lower side of an air cleaner 26 through the air duct from openings provided in both sides of a cowling to be supplied to a carburetor. |
