PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate printing to long papers by sucking, printing and delivering the paper after receiving printing data of a first printing area, and printing a next printing area when an operator returns the delivered paper to a paper feed port after receiving printing data of the next printing area. SOLUTION: A paper transfer part of a structure in which a supply part is arranged in front of a printing unit has a plurality of paper transfer rollers 41 rotatable forward and backward and, a flap 42 for changing a paper transfer path to the side of a standby unit 43 when a paper is transferred in an opposite direction to a direction at the printing time. In printing to a long paper, the paper is sucked from the supply part and, delivered to a delivery part including a stacker 46 after a first printing area is printed by a printing unit 6. When the delivered paper is set again to the supply part, the paper is sent to a next printing area and the next printing area is printed. The operation is repeatedly carried out. The paper is delivered after the paper is printed to a last area.
