PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easily and inexpensively attachable fluid overflow preventing apparatus and a fluid outflow stopping device for fluid carrying vehicle to be used for said apparatus. SOLUTION: An overflow preventing apparatus A comprises a fill-up sensing means 2 equipped with a level detector 21 for sensing filling-up of gasoline G to be stored in an underground tank 11 and an outflow stopping means 4 provided at a tank truck 3 having a tank 31 for carrying gasoline for stopping outflow of the gasoline from the tank of the tank truck to the underground tank on fill-up sensing signals from the fill-up sensing means 2. The overflow stopping means 4 is equipped with right and left opening/closing valves for the right and left pipings, a rear opening/closing valve for a rear piping, and a driving device for closing each of the opening/closing valves for stopping outflow of the gasoline. A wireless transmitter 22 for transmitting fill-up sensing signals by wireless is provided at the fill-up sensing means 2.
