PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article excellent in a fit and leakproof performance. SOLUTION: This substantially oblong absorbent article 1 includes a liquid- impermeable leakproof layer and a liquid-retaining absorbent layer disposed on a skin-abutting surface past the leakproof layer. The absorbent article 1 has constricted parts 5 longitudinally inwardly curved toward the skin-abutting surface and having its sides narrowed toward the center at an excrement-part abutting position on plan view, and has projecting curved three-dimensional parts 6 which project toward the skin-abutting surface on both longitudinal sides.
