PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the efficiency for catching litter into water and to enhance the suction force of an air blower in a water filter type cleaner. SOLUTION: The structure of this cleaner is divided into a suction chamber 12 and an exhaustion chamber 13 by providing a partition wall 11 for interrupting air by allowing only water to flow into a water tank 3. Air sucked from the suction chamber 12 to an air blower 5 is passed through an exhaust duct 14, made into fine air bubbles by air bubble generator 15, which is installed in the exhaustion chamber 13, and discharged into water, then water and air are naturally separated on the surface of water. Thus, litter and bacteria containing in the sucked air are caught twice into water in the water tank and further caught totally three times by being rotationally stirred in the air blower. Also carbon fiber generated by the wearing of the rectifier of a driving motor can be taken into water in the water tank. Besides, since water and air are naturally separated, clean exhaustion and strong suction force can be obtained.
