<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pigment with excellent image density, dispersibility, storage stability, re-solubility, and resistance of an ink film to markers and abrasion. <P>SOLUTION: The polyurethane resin adhesion pigment is formed by contacting, in an aqueous medium, a pigment (I) having acidic groups on the surface, and a water-dispersible polyurethane resin (II) having tertiary amino groups and anionic polar groups or nonionic polar chains.
