<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slow speed filtration apparatus filtrating by the action of a microbe, and further, enabling a sustained and efficient removal of iron and manganese after regeneration. <P>SOLUTION: The slow speed filtration apparatus comprises a filtration tank main body 4 provided with a multistage filter medium layer unit 1 collection upward and downward in a tank by a filter medium layer unit 1, and the outlet port 45 for filtrate on a tank wall below the lowest stage of the filter medium layer unit collection; and an injection port 52 for raw water provided on the upward position of the highest stage of the filter medium layer unit collection contained in the filtration tank main body, wherein a filter medium 30 fills low from the upper edge of the frame body to form a filter medium layer 3 in a unit container 2 integrated by closing the bottom face side opening of a frame body 2a where the filter medium layer unit 1 formes an opening frame by a hole bottom plate 2b, and wherein iron and/or manganese in raw water is removed by the action of the microbe adhered and formed to the filter medium so that the raw water 81 is injected from an injection port 52 while keeping the filter medium in an immersion state, permeates the filter medium layer 3 and flows down. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
