The angle transmitter has an electrical switching component with a resistive unit (6) arranged relative to one of joint parts (3, 4) such that the resistive unit partially surrounds a swiveling axis (1). The swiveling axis is radially held in a recess (7), in such a manner that a coupling unit (8) cooperates with the resistive unit during deviation of the joint parts relative to each other between a position, in which the coupling unit cooperates with the resistive unit and another position that lies within the recess. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a kinematics device comprising electrical drive (2) a method for swiveling the joint parts relative to each other using an angle transmitter.
