Composition (I) comprises nebivolol as active agent or its salt and a polymer carrier material, where the active agent is present in micronized form in a polymer carrier matrix and is essentially free of wetting agent. An independent claim is included for the preparation of (I) comprising forming a dispersion of an aqueous solution of the polymer carrier and the active agent, adding one or more filler material with remaining components, mixing aqueous dispersion and the filler material under stirring, subsequently granulating the wet mass and compressing the granule tablet. ACTIVITY : Hypotensive. MECHANISM OF ACTION : Beta-receptor blocker.
