RESIN-TYPE LIGHT GUIDE PLATE COMPOSITION, BACKLIGHT UNIT INCLUDING LIGHT GUIDE PLATE FORMED THEREFROM, AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE INCLUDING THE BACKLIGHT UNIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin-type light guide plate composition from which a light guide plate, that can be applied to a locally-dimmable module-type backlight unit exhibiting excellent adhesive power to a base material and a low shrinkage ratio, can be formed by a simple curing process and from which a thick film can be formed and to provide the backlight unit including the light guide plate formed from the resin-type light guide plate composition and a liquid crystal display device including the backlight unit.

SOLUTION: The resin-type light guide plate composition includes: a urethane-(meth)acrylate oligomer shown by formula (1); hydrogen bond type (meth)acrylate having a hydroxyl group or a carboxyl group; an acrylic monomer which has ≤15% maximum shrinkage ratio and is shown by expression (I): Maximum shrinkage rate (%)=-2.58+3,000×[number of (meth)acryl functional groups/molecular weight of acrylic monomer]; and a photopolymerization initiator.
