PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To devise a receiving container disposed in a sink so as not to be moved by drainage upon draining water stored in a rice washing tank to the sink. SOLUTION: The rice washer has a rice washing tank 53 for discharging rice downward after washing, disposes the sink 6 of a sink table 4 capable of disposing the receiving container for receiving the rice discharged from the rice washing tank 53 below this rice washing tank 53, has a drainage conduit 79 for draining water inside the rice washing tank 53 to the sink 6, wherein upon draining water stored in the rice washing tank 53 to the sink 6, water is drained intermittently.
