PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image diagnostic apparatus capable of displaying an endoscope image of a tissue surface acquired by an endoscope associated with elasticity information of tissue in the same line of sight to that of the endoscope. SOLUTION: This medical image diagnostic apparatus consists of: three-dimensional volume data generation means for capturing a subject in a plurality of sectional planes and generating three-dimensional volume data of the tissue elasticity information of the subject; storage means for storing the three-dimensional volume data; image construction means for generating the endoscope image based on signals output from an endoscope probe inserted into the subject; position/attitude detection means for detecting the position and attitude of the endoscope probe; composed image generation means for reading the elasticity information corresponding to the endoscope image from the storage means and generating a composed image with the endoscope image; and display means for displaying the composed image.
