<p>Gaskets 1 of said type have sealing layer (s) 3, 4 with beads 5, 6 which are assigned to passage opening (s) 2, and stopper layer (s) 7 with a stopper 8 which limits the resilience of the bead(s) 5, 6. The stopper is composed of a plurality of directly successive ridge-shaped elevations 11 and groove-shaped depressions 12, both being trapezoidal in cross section and both being formed in on both sides 9, 10 of the stopper layer 7, with setting angles 14 of the trapezium flanks 13. The trapezoidal elevations 11 of the one side are situated opposite the trapezoidal depressions 12 of the other side. A cross section 17 (Q1) which is delimited by opposing trapezium flanks 13 which are adjacent to one another is the same or greater than a cross section 18 (Q2) which is delimited between the opposing depressions of the two sides. Here, the forces are to be absorbed entirely by those partial regions of the stopper 8 which are defined by the cross section 17 (Q1) which additionally find insufficient purchase in the weakened cross section 18 (Q2). Such a stopper construction also requires a lot of space.</p> |
