The present invention relates to a method for controlling a drive wheel of a vehicle. The method for controlling a drive wheel of a vehicle comprises: a step of outputting a speed signal by detecting the operation of a speed control means by a speed input sensor; a step of outputting a steering signal by detecting the steering angle of a steering means by a steering angle sensor; a step of setting a radius of turning of the vehicle and a target drive speed of the vehicle using the steering signal and the speed signal by a controller and setting a target drive speed of a left drive wheel and a target drive speed of a right drive wheel from the radius of turning of the vehicle and the target drive speed of the vehicle; and a step of outputting a drive signal to a first drive means and a second drive means by the controller to allow the left drive wheel and the right drive wheel to be driven at the target drive speed. According to the present invention, the vehicle can smoothly be turned along an accurate trajectory.
