ELECTRODE RING USED FOR ION MOBILITY SPECTROMETER, ION MIGRATION TUBE AND ION MOBILITY SPECTROMETER

An electrode ring (1) used for an ion mobility spectrometer, an ion migration tube and an ion mobility spectrometer, wherein the outer edge thickness of the electrode ring (1) is greater than the inner edge thickness thereof in an axial direction. The structure of the electrode ring (1) is changed from the case where the inner edge thickness is equal to the outer edge thickness in the axial direction into the case where the inner edge thickness is less than the outer edge thickness in the axial direction, which significantly improves the electric field uniformity inside the migration tube. By means of the structure of the electrode ring (1) with the outer edge thickness being greater than the inner edge thickness in the axial direction, a smooth ion migration region inside the migration tube is expanded. The electric field uniformity of an ion migration tube composed of the electrode ring (1) with the inner edge thickness being equal to the outer edge thickness in the axial direction is significantly worse than that of an ion migration tube composed of the electrode ring (1), having the same outer edge thickness, with the inner edge thickness being less than the outer edge thickness in the axial direction.
