<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a communication charge for the transfer of scanned image data. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming device comprises: request reception means which receives a read request of image data; read execution control means which causes the read of the image data to be executed on the basis of the read request; and transfer means which transfers the read image data to an information processing device related to first identification information designated by the read request.
