PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a titanium oxide-based pigment for providing an ink for gravure printing obtaining bluish color tone and high opacifying property without reduction of adhesiveness, a composition containing the same and a manufacturing method of the titanium oxide-based pigment.SOLUTION: There is provided a composite particle having a coated layer containing a substrate particle containing titanium oxide and both of a zinc compound and an aluminum compound arranged on a surface of the substrate particle directly or via other layers and having average primary particle diameter of 0.1 to 1.0 μm, a composition containing the same and a manufacturing method of the composite particle including a process to arranging the coated layer containing the zinc compound and the aluminum compound by preparing a slurry containing particles containing titanium oxide at concentration of 50 to 500 g/L, maintaining a temperature of the slurry at 20 to 70°C and adding a water soluble zinc compound, a water soluble aluminum compound and a precipitant to the slurry at predetermined pH.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
