PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel tank capable of improving insertion work efficiency of a pump unit to a tank body.SOLUTION: A fuel tank 10 includes a tank body 12 and a pump unit 16. The tank body 12 has a circular tank hole 22 on an upper surface 20. The pump unit 16 has a fuel pump 32, and a pump unit body 16A which forms an outer shape having projecting and recessed portions. The pump unit 16 is disposed in the tank body 12 after being made to pass through the tank hole 22. The pump unit 16 has a guide member 62 for restraining collision of the projecting portions (33, 35, 36, 38, and 52) of the outer shape with an opening edge 22a of the tank hole 22 while passing through the tank hole 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
