PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily realize a room layout corresponding to a change in a family make-up and a life style, by improving variability, while securing privacy.SOLUTION: A building 1 comprises a first dwelling unit 2 and a second dwelling unit 3, and comprises a first sharing part 4 adjacent to the first dwelling unit 2 and provided with a common entrance 4z on an outer peripheral wall 4y, a second sharing part 5 adjacent to the second dwelling unit 3 and provided with a common entrance 5z on an outer peripheral wall 5y, a detached living room 6 adjacent to the first sharing part 4 and the second sharing part 5, a first detached parting wall 8 for partitioning the first sharing part 4 and the detached living room 6, and a second detached parting wall 7 for partitioning the second sharing part 5 and the detached living room 6.
