PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling apparatus capable of adjusting a range of water flow in the width direction of a steel plate transported by a rolling line of a steel mill.SOLUTION: A plurality of cooling water headers 5a-5d are arranged in parallel. A first nozzle 51ad1 and a second nozzle 51cd1 are arranged in positions not becoming the same position in the axial direction B in the first cooling water header 5a and the second cooling water header 5c. A through-hole communicating with the first nozzle 51ad1 and the second nozzle 51cd1 and having a circumferential directional length d1 is arranged on the more end part side than a through-hole having a circumferential directional length d2 larger by one stage than the circumferential directional length d1. A third nozzle 51bd1 and a fourth nozzle 51dd1 are arranged in a third cooling water header 5b and a fourth cooling water header 5d, at positions not becoming the same position in the axial direction B and on the more central side than the first nozzle 51ad1 and the second nozzle 51cd1. |
