PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain high control quality through optimization of initial pressure, at rapidly intensifying pressure in over-steering control at dispensing with many man-hours and tuning high in degree of difficulty. SOLUTION: This brake control device is provided with a control means (d) for executing over-steering control of actuating a hydraulic control actuator (b), in order to generate braking force to requested wheels to suppress yaw moment of a vehicle, when the vehicle is put in an over-steering state on the basis of input from a vehicle behavior detecting means (c). The control means (d) is constituted to perform processing for rapidly intensifying pressure to initial pressure first and then gradually intensifying pressure toward the target pressure, when intensifying the pressure of a wheel cylinder in the execution of over-steering control. The control means (d) is constituted so as to determine the initial pressure in rapid pressure intensifying processing, with vehicle body speed and vehicle body side slip angular velocity as parameters.
