PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protection fence for road having an emission indicating function which can optimize emitting direction without lowering the mechanical strength of the protection fence. SOLUTION: In a protection fence for road having a guard rail including support 1 and a guard plate 2, an emission indicating device 3 deformable in response to the attaching face of the surface of the guard plate 2 or around the support 1 is provided. Then, solar cells 4a, 4b are installed to the support 1 or the guard plate 2 as a power source, and an adhesion layer is provided on the emission indicating device 3, which permits the adhesion of the device without using fixing fasteners such as metal screws.
