PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cosmetic composition free from stickiness to the hair, having smooth combing property, giving no sticky or blocking feeling to the skin and exhibiting excellent feeling in use by including a specific N-long-chain acyl neutral amino acid ester and/or a specific N-long-chain acyl acidic amino acid diester and a water-soluble polymer and/or an alcohol-soluble polymer. SOLUTION: The objective composition contains (A) an N-long-chain acyl neutral amino acid ester having a 6-22C acyl group and an alcohol site composed of a 1-10C hydrocarbon group (e.g. N-lauroylsarcosine isopropyl ester) and/or (B) an N-long-chain acyl acidic amino acid diester having a 6-22C acyl group and an alcohol site composed of a 1-10C hydrocarbon group (e.g. N- cocoylglutamic acid diisopropyl ester) (the total amount of the components A and B is preferably 0.01-50 wt.%) and (C) preferably 0.001-50 wt.% water-soluble polymer and/or an alcohol-soluble polymer (e.g. hydrolyzed collagen).
