A sales supporting method comprising a calculating procedure for calculating a first discount value of a missing commodity based on arrival information on the missing commodity which a customer wants to purchase, a commodity information managing procedure for managing information on commodity wanted to purchase by relating the first discount value calculated through the calculating procedure, commodity information representing the missing commodity, and identification information for identifying the customer, and a discounting procedure for discounting the price of the commodity based on the first discount value managed through the commodity information controlling procedure when the customer purchases the commodity represented in the commodity information.
