A compound represented by the general formula (I), a salt, N-oxide or solvate thereof, or a prodrug of the compound, salt, N-oxide or solvate [in the general formula, each symbol is as defined in the description]. (I) The compound represented by the general formula (I) has a CXCR4 antagonistic activity and is therefore useful as a prophylactic and/or therapeutic agent for a CXCR4-related disease such as an inflammatory/immune disease (e.g., rheumatoid arthritis, arthritis, retinopathy, macular degeneration, pulmonary fibrosis, organ transplant rejection), an allergic disease, an infectious disease (e.g., human immunodeficiency virus infection, acquired immunodeficiency syndrome), a mental/neurogenic disease, a brain disease, a cardiovascular disease, a metabolic disease, a cancerous disease (e.g., cancer, cancer metastasis), an agent for regenerative medicine, or the like.
