FIELD: radio detection and ranging, applicable in radars for processing of the signal reflected from the object. ^ SUBSTANCE: the inventions are based on the weight processing of signals consisting in the fact that at processing of the received signal in several filters with different weight functions the signal side lobes vary to a higher degree than the major lobe. The deviations of the signal at the output of the digital filters are measured, and on the basis of the value of the measured deviations a decision is taken on the presence of the major lobe or side lobe of the signal. ^ EFFECT: provided detection of the object only due to the major lobe of the signal, with the signal/noise ratio and the width of the major lobe attained at a rectangular weight processing remaining unchanged. ^ 8 cl, 6 dwg |
