PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing line attaching device capable of quickly, easily and surely attaching a terminal tackle line without tying the terminal tackle line. SOLUTION: The fishing line attaching device includes an attaching body 1, an attaching device main body 10 and a cylindrical body 14. The attaching body 1 has an insertion part 4. A through hole 5 is formed on the attaching body 1 and a metal shaft rod 7 having a fishing line attaching hole 6 at the tip end is passed through the through hole 5 and attached. A terminal tackle line 9 is passed through the fishing line attaching hole 6 and tied on a braided part 20 to furnish the attaching body 1 on the terminal tackle line 9. The attaching device body 10 has an insertion hole 13. The cylindrical body 14 rotatable around the axial direction of the tip as the rotation axis is freely rotatably provided annularly. On the side surface of the cylindrical body 14, an opening part formed to be cut out into a square is provided. When fishing, the cylindrical body 14 is rotated to open the insertion hole 13 and the insertion part 4 of the attaching body 1 attached to the terminal tackle line 9 is inserted into the insertion hole 13.
