<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide comprehensive support by easily and surely updating the version of game data at a low cost to continuously control the version of the game data on a game device manufacturer side. <P>SOLUTION: The game device acquires code data necessary for updating the versions in a video game for which a plurality of kinds of versions are available from an updating sheet 20 by a card reading section 16, updates game data by using updating data of a version specified by the code data by referring to a storage section 17 storing game data with the versions kept identifiable, updates the version of the video game to a version specified by the code data by setting working game data used in the video game, and controls the progress of the video game by using the game data set in the working game data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
