摘要 PURPOSE: A composite comprising an electrode-active transition metal compound and a fibrous carbon material is provided to have excellent electric conductivity by using a fibrous carbon material with excellent electric conductance, and to obtain the inherent electrochemical characteristic of electrode active material due to the fibrous carbon material which does not obstruct contact between electrode active material and electrolyte. CONSTITUTION: A composite comprising an electrode-active transition metal compound and a fibrous carbon material comprises the aggregate of the first particles of transition metal which is electrode active material, and fibrous carbon material. The surface density of fibrous carbon material is higher than the inside density thereof. The average diameter of fibrous carbon material is 0.5-200nm. The aspect ratio against the length of diameter is 10 or more. The fibrous carbon material is carbon fiber or carbon nanotube. The weight ratio of the transition metal compound and the fiber carbon material is 99.9:0.1-80:20.
