PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake device for a vehicle which dissolves at least a part of a function limit to a determination object, in the brake device for the vehicle having the determination object which contributes to a function for making wheels of the vehicle generate brake forces, and a failure determination part which determines whether or not a failure occurs in the determination object.SOLUTION: In a brake device for a vehicle which comprises a determination object which contributes to a function for making wheels of the vehicle generate brake forces, a failure determination part which determines whether or not a failure occurs in the determination object, and a volatile memory which stores a determination result by the failure determination part, and controls the determination object on the basis of the determination result by the failure determination part, when power supply to the volatile memory is stopped in a state that a probability that a brake operation is performed is high, the determination result which is stored in the volatile memory is stored in a non-volatile memory.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
