PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image-blurring correction device and an optical instrument using it that are capable of smoothly driving a latching means having a latching part permitting to fixedly latch or move a corrective optical means, and also making the optical axis of the corrective optical means coincide with that of another optical system even at the time of off-correction of image- blurring when the image-blurring is not performed, and achieving an ideal optical performance. SOLUTION: This image-blurring correction device and optical instrument are structured in such that a corrective optical means A is held by a driving means so that a predetermined clearance C is formed between the corrective optical means A and a latching part 113b of a latching member 113 even at a position corresponding to the direction of an image-blurring correction, and when the driving means makes the image-blurring correction turned off, the corrective optical means A is put aside in a predetermined direction by the clearance C and is abutted to the latching member 113b of the latching part 113, and the optical axis of the corrective optical means A is made to coincide with that of another optical system. |
