PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramide-linking peptide that is useful for elucidate the molecular functions of ceramide-participating intracellular signal transduction. SOLUTION: The objective peptide is either following (a) or (b): (a) a peptide bearing an amino acid sequence selected from any of the amino acid sequence given by the sequence numbers of 1 through 12; (b) a peptide bearing the amino acid sequence modified by substitution, deletion or addition of one or more amino acids from or to the amino acid sequence given in (a) and can link to ceramide.
