PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic brake adjusting device for a passenger conveyor to allow anybody to perform adjustment simply and quickly. SOLUTION: The configuration includes an engagement part to engage a transmitting lever 9 to transmit the motion of a movable armature 5 moving with an energizing current flowing in a solenoid whereby engagement is generated between a push bolt 8 and lock nut 12 which adjust the gap A in a plunger type microswitch 11 to sense the motion of the armature 5, and further a first lock fitting 14 in a disc shape having a hexagonal hole and a second lock fitting 15 in disc shape having a hexagonal groove are provided.
