PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance convenience for getting-in and -out, and to enhance collision performance in a stepped part of a side sill at the time of front collision. SOLUTION: Each stepped part 12a with an upper face of each side sill 12 formed into a sloped face sloped downwards toward a front side is provided in an intermediate portion in a longitudinal direction of a lower side edge portion, in the side sills 12 extended along a longitudinal direction of a body in both sides of a floor panel 10 to constitute the lower side edge portions of side door openings in both body side parts. Both ends of a cross member 22 extended body-width-directionally on a floor panel 10 are joined respectively to the sill sides 12 located in the both floor sides. A front end 12d of the each stepped part 12a in the side sills 12 is positioned in a position consistent with a longitudinal-directional position of an edge line 22d forming a front end edge of an upper face 22c of the cross member 22 in side view of the body, in a join part of the cross member 22 to the side sill 12.
