PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a condenser capable of ensuring high refrigerating effect while avoiding pressure rise of a refrigerant. SOLUTION: A multi-flow type condenser is chiefly selected as an object. Among a plurality of paths P1 to P3 the path 2 located by one on this side from the final path P3 is reduced in its tube number compared with the paths P1 to P3 located before and after the path 2, whereby they are constructed as a pressure reduction path (pressure reduction means) by lowering refrigerant pressure. A refrigerant condensed in the first path I reduced in pressure through the pressure reduction path P2, part of which is evaporated and the low pressure gas refrigerant is again condensed in the final path P3.
