PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmitting system capable of reducing device scale in a repeater block. SOLUTION: In a frame constitution for performing error correction, one part of overhead is divided into (object) part to perform the error correction and (non-object) part not to perform the error correction corresponding to the kind thereof, error-correcting encoding processing is performed only to the error correction object part and the non-object part is transmitted without performing error-correcting encoding processing. Thus, respective kinds of processing such as error-correcting decoding or encoding are not required for a repeater concerning the overhead of the non-object part and termination or insertion can be easily performed so that the circuit scale of the repeater can be reduced.
