The hose connector comprises a connecting section (1) and a clamping nut (5). The hoses (2) have a wider section (2a) at the top. They fit into corresponding recesses (4) in the nut and support sleeves (7) are fitted inside them. The novelty is that the recesses in the nut have a bevelled section (9) at their lower ends which is of smaller diameter than the hose.
