Luminescent composition contains europium-doped strontium borophosphate and europium-doped strontium aluminate. An Independent claim is also included for a low pressure discharge lamp comprising the luminescent composition arranged on the inner side of the discharge lamp. Preferred Features: The composition further contains antimony- and manganese-doped calcium halophosphate luminescent material, cerium- and manganese-doped gadolinium zinc magnesium pentaborate luminescent material, and terbium-doped green emitting luminescent material.
