<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric converter capable of achieving multi-channelization. <P>SOLUTION: The photoelectric converter 1B comprises: a light-emitting element 4A; an IC circuit 50A for the light-emitting element 4A; a mount substrate 3 for packaging the light-emitting element 4A; an electric connector 6 that can be attached to or detached from an external connector 7; and a waveguide 31 optically coupled to the light-emitting element. The electric connector 6 is provided on one surface 3a of the mount substrate 3; the light-emitting element 4A is packaged on at least two surfaces of the mount substrate 3; and the waveguide 31 is provided on the mount substrate 3 so that it is extended in parallel with one surface 3a of the mount substrate 3 from a position corresponding to each light-emitting element 4A. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
