<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiver capable of quickly viewing content of free RMP (Rights Management and Protection) and also viewing pay-per-view, to provide a transmitter, and to provide a receiving method. <P>SOLUTION: The receiver comprises: a receiving part (102) for outputting content encrypted from a broadcast signal from a scramble key (Ks) and individual information (EMM) about program information (ECM) and a contract; an I/F part for communicating with a control module (151); a first ECM processing part (111) for processing the program information (ECM) and outputting first key information; a second ECM processing part (153) for receiving the individual information (EMM), storing a key for decrypting the program information (ECM) in a control module, receiving the program information (ECM), decrypting the program information by a decryption key and outputting second key information; a control part (114) for selecting or operating the first or second key information output from the first or the second ECM processing part and outputting the scramble key (Ks); and a descrambler part (103) for decrypting the content encrypted by the scramble key (Ks) output from the control part and outputting the content. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
