PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide communication equipment, a communication method, a program, and a recording medium for setting whether all documents to be transferred should be encrypted or not and whether transmission sources of the documents should be assured or not. SOLUTION: The communication equipment includes: a first setting means which sets whether all documents to be transferred should be encrypted or not and/or whether transmission sources of all documents to be transferred should be assured or not; a first encryption processing means which encrypts all the documents to be transferred, on the basis of setting of the first setting means; a first transmitter assuring means which assures transmitters of all the documents to be transferred, on the basis of setting of the first setting means; and a transfer processing means which assures the transmitters of all the documents which have been encrypted, on the basis of setting of the first setting means and transfers all the documents.
