ULTRASONIC DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT, ULTRASONIC IMAGE PROCESSOR, AND ULTRASONIC IMAGE PROCESSING PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide information for use in an assessment of the moving state of a specific tissue by reducing influence of dispersion in distortion of the specific tissue.

SOLUTION: A profile tracking section 11 finds positions of respective points constituting the profile of the specific tissue in tomogram data acquired in respective cardiac phases, for every cardiac phase by a pattern matching. A computing section 20 finds distortions of the respective parts constituting the specific tissue for every cardiac phase based on the positions of the respective points constituting the profile, finds distortion rates based on the distortions and finds standardized distortion rates by dividing the distortion rates of the respective parts by the maximum distortions of the respective parts. The computing section 20 assigns colors according to the standardized distortion rates to the respective parts. A display control section 7 allows a display section 81 to display tomograms acquired in the respective cardiac phases for every cardiac phase and display the respective parts of the specific tissue displayed on the tomograms of the respective cardiac phases with the colors assigned to the respective parts.
