PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrodynamic connecting device for a hybrid vehicle wherein complexity is reduced.

SOLUTION: The connecting device is provided with: a housing 102; a seal plate 116 connected to the housing in a rotation direction; a pump 104 arranged in the housing; a turbine 106 arranged in the housing and connected in fluid communication with the pump; and a drying chamber 132 at least partially surrounded by the housing and the seal plate.
