PURPOSE: An e-commerce device and method thereof through IPTV are provided to enable a user to consume a suitable product within predetermined budget by purchasing a product after comparing predetermined budget with product price. CONSTITUTION: A budget storage unit(120) stores the budget of a user. A predicted purchase list unit(130) stores product information which a user purchases within an IPTV. A comparison operator(140) compares total cost of a product with budget of the budget storage unit. If the total cost is greater than budget, an information output unit(145) outputs warning information. A payment information storage unit(170) stores payment information for performing the payment of the stored product.
