A bed sensor, in a bed having a supporting member and a supported member that is supported by the supporting member, detects a load applied to the supporting member from the supported member. This bed sensor has a pin inserted through both a first hole provided in the supported member and a second hole provided in the supporting member, the pin coupling the supported member to the supporting member. Further, a strain gauge is attached to a small diameter portion in the central portion of the pin. The deformation of the pin is detected by the strain gauge and the load applied to the pin is detected. Accordingly, when detecting a load applied to a required portion of a bed, the load can be detected by means of a simple configuration. Further, the present invention is capable of providing: a bed sensor which can be easily mounted in the bed, and have high versatility; and a bed embedded with the bed sensor. |
