PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide management of access to images and workflows by using roles.SOLUTION: A reference image of one or more objects is displayed on a display of a mobile device in a manner that allows a user of the mobile device to simultaneously view the reference image and a preview image of the one or more objects present currently in a field of view of a camera of the mobile device. An indication is provided to the user of the mobile device whether the camera of the mobile device is currently located within a specified range from a distance at which the reference image was acquired. An image management application provides various functions for accessing and managing image sequences. Access to images, workflows and workflow levels is managed using roles. Users are assigned roles and are permitted to access images, workflows and workflow levels for which they have been assigned with the required roles.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
