PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active energy ray-curable resin composition for a black matrix.SOLUTION: An active energy ray-curable resin composition for a black matrix contains a reactive polycarboxylic acid compound (B) and carbon black, excepting that the active energy ray-curable resin composition for the black matrix contains dispersant. The reactive polycarboxylic acid compound (B) is obtained by reacting a polybasic acid anhydride (d) with a reactive epoxy carboxylate compound (A) obtained by reacting a compound (b) having one or more polymerizable ethylenically unsaturated groups and one or more carboxy groups in one molecule with an epoxy resin (a) represented by formula (1).SELECTED DRAWING: None
