摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recovering the deteriorated catalytic activity of a catalyst for producing phthalic anhydride.SOLUTION: There is provided a catalyst for producing phthalic anhydride used for a reaction in which naphthalene or o-xylene is oxidized to form phthalic anhydride, which is produced by carrying a vanadium compound, a cesium compound and a potassium compound which are catalyst active component on a carrier. A mixture is produced by adding a cesium compound and a potassium compound to a catalyst for producing phthalic anhydride which is used for a reaction in which naphthalene or o-xylene is oxidized to form phthalic anhydride and whose catalytic activity is deteriorated and air is blown into the mixture to fluidize the mixture. Accordingly, the catalytic activity of the catalyst for producing phthalic anhydride is recovered.SELECTED DRAWING: None
